In Maharashtra total 2450 MBBS Seats available in Deemed Universities. In Maharashtra new Women’s Deemed University i.e. Symbiosis Medical College for Women, Pune approved by MCI for 2020-21 Academic Year and it is First Women’s Deemed University in medical education field in India. In Maharashtra one new Deemed University i.e.Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College, Vashi,(MGM Institute of Health Sciences ),approved by MCI for 2023-24 Academic Year.
